Please join us for a CLE presentation on the California Digital Financial Assets Law (DFAL), which has a July 1, 2026, licensing application effective date. The CLE will discuss the law and associated regulations, its interplay with the broader digital assets regulatory framework in the United States, and the future of digital assets regulation. This program will be co-presented by Morrison Foerster Financial Services and Fintech partners Avy Mallik, former General Counsel of the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation, which is tasked with overseeing DFAL, and Alexandra Steinberg Barrage, who will provide a practical overview of DFAL and highlight key developments at both the state and federal levels.
