We invite you to join Morrison Foerster for a panel discussion exploring the intersection of Cybersecurity and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), and how companies can manage enterprise risk.

Increasingly, cybersecurity is viewed not just as a technology issue, but a social and governance issue that must be evaluated as a critical part of an organization’s ESG strategy. With increasing requests for data to measure compliance on certain ESG metrics from diverse stakeholders and across their supply chain, companies’ data sharing needs are increasing, signaling a cause for caution and increased board scrutiny. Similarly, ESG now requires looking beyond the single materiality approach to double materiality, as companies are now required to report on risk and compliance. Consequently, we will discuss the manifestations of ESG in cybersecurity and how companies can prepare for coming regulations.

In recognition of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, this panel will address the interplay between cybersecurity and ESG, including the importance of promoting cyber resilience across a business, integrating cybersecurity considerations into broader supply chain risk management programs, and ensuring appropriate executive accountability and board oversight.

If you are interested in the program but are unable to attend in person, please register to receive a recording of the event at a later date.

Please note that Morrison Foerster’s event policy requires all attendees to be up-to-date on vaccinations for COVID-19.
